Two optional one-day pre-conference field trips and an optional two-day post-conference field trip are planned.

The pre-conference field trips are:

	1. Dunite to harzburgite melt conduits in Lanzo South mantle peridotites (western Alps), led by Alessio Sanfilippo (Università di Pavia) and Alberto Zanetti (Istituto di Geoscienze e Georisorse, C.N.R. The optional two-day post-conference field trip is in the Ivrea-Verbano Zone: mantle bodies within and at the base of the lower continental crust. The field leaders are Alberto Zanetti, Antonio Langone (Istituto di Geoscienze e Georisorse, C.N.R.
